What is a CSV File?
A CSV (Comma-Separated Values) file is a simple format for storing data in a structured way. These files can be opened with spreadsheet applications like Excel and are perfect for transferring data between apps.
Why Back Up Your Data?
Backing up your data ensures you always have a copy of your important information. Exporting as a CSV file creates a reusable, portable version of your data that can be imported into other tools like DriveTime Simplified.
A Quick Note About Syncing
DriveTime Simplified and myDriveTime are not automatically synced! This means any updates made in myDriveTime after your data has been imported into DriveTime Simplified won't automatically appear in the DriveTime Simplified app. However, you can easily keep your data up to date by re-exporting the latest CSV files from myDriveTime and reimporting them into DriveTime Simplified. This process is quick and ensures you always have the most accurate and current data when you need it.
